We cleared dock security and arrived at the ship around 5:15 pm. Another vehicle pulled through security and two JWs were about to board. We stopped them and mentioned that we had pre-arranged our visit. Interestingly, they had a pass with picture ID and go under the name of Bible Missions. Thankfully, they chose to leave and said that they would come back the next day. Note: after our visit we posted a message on What’s App for everyone to pray that God would thwart the JWs visit the next day.
We boarded the ship at 5:30 with the bread, gifts and were taken to a lounge room where we were greeted by the British Captain. Various crew were eating dinner in the crew mess next door. The captain was very friendly and some of the Russian crew were there and were very friendly as well. We ended up ministering to the 7 Filipinos. Both of us gave the message of Salvation centred around John 3:16. The crew were very attentive to the message that God initiated a way to return to Him, through Jesus Christ, so that we can spend eternity with Him. As a financial professional, I, Frank, spoke about how their net worth is greater than all the Billionaires in the world because their inheritance is eternal. When we go to God, we show our passport to Jesus to go through security and He clears us to enter heaven for eternity. They prayed along to the prayer of salvation, in Tagalog, and we pray that they will seek God to make it a true conversion.
We prayed for the 7 seafarers; for their walk with the Lord, their families back in the Philippines, and for safety, promotions, and favour with the captain.
Afterwards, we extended our stay and visited with the seafarers in the crew mess. We had a good chat about morality. One of the seafarers was a Catholic and another was a Protestant. They were well aware of things that are going on in the world, and we engaged in a great conversation. We mentioned to them that the JWs are a cult and may try to come back. We hope and pray that the Captain will refuse their visit or that the Lord will cancel their attempt.
We sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit this evening and the seafarers were with us for a long time. We left the ship at 8 pm and praise the Lord for such a good visit today
