We boarded the ship about 5:30 and the captain greeted us and invited us to dinner. We had a good conversation and afterwards asked if others could join us for the gospel presentation. Most of the crew were busy or sleeping, but we had 4 gather to hear the gospel. We shared the gospel with them as well as our testimonies and scripture verses. They were very attentive and we were with them for about an hour and a half.
We gave them the gifts and the bags of clothes, which they were very thankful for. The donor of these clothes gave us very high quality clothing and the seafarers were trying on the sweaters and jackets with big smiles on their faces.
Afterwards we prayed for their safety on the ship, the voyage back to Asia, and for their families back home. It was a good visit and we thank the Lord for guiding us as we minister to these seafarers.
