Mozu Arrow – April 21st, 2025

Port: Harmac West

Crew: 21 Filipino

Names of Ship Missionaries: Gary & Gina Steele

Result: 2 Christians came to meet us

Items taken on & given out: 21 gifts, 100 tracts, 25 Tagalog New Testaments.

We arrived at about 5:30 and had favour with the security guards at all 3 posts. After signing into deck security we went up to the crew mess and laid out our materials on the table. Then we introduced ourselves to the two available crew who were having dinner, and they invited us to join them, which we did.. We asked them where they are from in the Philippines and about their families. They informed us that they are Christians so we talked about the gospel with them to ensure that we were all talking about the same gospel since Catholics consider themselves to be Christian when they are not. We shared what God has done in our lives and also shared many scriptures:

Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Romans 8:16 “For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.”

John 14:6 “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”

Revelation 3:20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”

John 1:12 “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

We had a very good visit with them and they were happy to get the New Testaments, saying that they will start a bible study on board the ship.

We were on board for about 2 hours and they were very happy to have us come aboard and visit with them. Praise God for this opportunity to minister to these Christians and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.
