Sandy Bay September 13th

Port:Downtown

Crew: 22 Chinese

Names of Ship Missionaries: Gerard Guimbatan, Frank Sciarpelletti

Result: Met 3 seafarers on the dock

Items taken on & given out: 2 bags of Cobbs bread, 6 Chinese- English New Testaments, a John 3:16 poster, numerous tracts

We arrived at 5:30 and were met by the dock security officer. They called the ship and found out that they were about to have a crew meeting. They agreed for the First Officer to come to meet us at the security gate, and then two crew returning from town also met with us.

We gave them the bread, tracts, New Testaments and then prayed for them. We trust the Lord to minuter to them Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

So, we ask for your prayers for the crew of this ship, that they will read the tracts and the Chinese-English New Testaments, and that the Holy Spirit will minster to them. We hope to see them again soon to follow-up on this visit.

Praise God for this opportunity to drop the bread and materials to them.
