Items taken on & given out: 22 gifts, 10 Tagalog New Testaments, 2 bag of Cobbs bread,

We arrived at 5pm and, after checking through security we drove up to the ship. After signing in with deck security one of the seafarers took us to the crew mess to meet the crew. After greeting the crew and visiting with them for a short while, we started sharing the gospel. Gerard started with John 3:16 and delivered  the gospel message in Tagalog.

I, Frank, also shared with them about the character of God and why He had to sacrifice His Son on the cross to pay for our sins. After sharing we had them pray a prayer confessing their sins, acknowledging that Jesus died on the cross to pay for their sins, and begin their new life with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

After our visit we handed out the gifts and took pictures before leaving the ship. It was a very good visit and we pray that the crew will read the materials in their gift bags and that the Holy Spirit would minister to them.

After our visit I went home and Gerard picked up another bag of Cobb’s bread and went back to the ship. He went through another gospel presentation for one hour with two young men in the engine crew who missed our first presentation.

We thank God for such a good visit and that we had the opportunity to share the gospel with so many of the crew.
