Result: 3 gathered to hear the gospel

We arrived at 5:30 and checked through all 3 levels of security (Harmac Main Gate, NPA dock security, and ship deck security). We went up to the crew mess and there were 3 seafarers having dinner. We set out our materials and sat down to visit with them. We asked what part of the Philippines they were from and had a short visit with them. Then they invited us to have dinner with them so we enjoyed a good fellowship time.

When the time was right we introduced our gospel presentation with John 3:16 and Gina took over in Tagalog with the gospel presentation. She also speaks in English and gives me a chance to share my testimony and scriptures with them as well. So we work as a team to share the gospel with them and they all listened very attentively. To finish up we used Revelation 3:20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock . . .” as a call for them to take action and commit themselves to the Lord.

They were all very happy that we came to visit with them and in the process they were learning about the bible as well. On the way out we talked to the security officer and he said that he just got on the ship and was having trouble adjusting. We prayed for him and he was crying so we encouraged him to trust the Lord to help him through this difficult time.

We thank God for such a good visit and ask that you would pray for the crew to read the materials in their gift bags and for those who heard the gospel, that the Holy Spirit would continue to minister to them.
