Items taken on & given out: 21 gifts, 1 bag of Cobbs bread, 7 Tagalog New Testaments, 75 gospel tracts.
We arrived at the ship around 5:30 and breezed through security without any problems. After checking into deck security we went to the crew mess to introduce ourselves to the available seafarers. We put our materials out on the table and began visiting with them. They are loading pulp and then they’re heading to China.
One seafarer paged for more crew so we had 13 come in to hear the gospel message. Gina began with John 3:16 and preached that they must be born again. We all shared our testimonies, stories, and scriptures emphasizing that Jesus is coming back soon the way our world is going. We exhorted them to repent and turn away from their sin, read the bible, and grow in grace.
After we finished we prayed for their safety and protection on the ship, that there would be no accidents, that they will have good weather when they leave for China, and that God would reveal himself to them during their voyage.
We thank God for His Holy presence during our visit and how He drew them to come and hear the gospel even though they were busy loading. It was an answer to prayer. We were on board for about 2 1/2 hours and thanked us for coming to visit with them and share the gospel with them.
