We picked up gifts and New Testaments and arrived at the ship about 5:30. After checking through 3 levels of security and into the crew mess. The crew were very busy, as ships are not in at Harmac West for very long, so only 6 could gather with us. We visited for a while and then moved to start our gospel presentation.
Gina began in Tagalog and since we had lots of New Testaments she had them read out the scriptures in their own language. I was able to share my testimony about being a seafarer and how God saved me from disaster many times. Gina also shared her testimony and they were very attentive to our gospel presentation. When we finished we prayed for their safety on the ship, their voyage back to Asia, and their families back home. They really appreciate the prayer.
After we finish the prayer we hand out the gifts and then leave the bag for the rest to be distributed to the crew when they are finished working. Please pray that they will read the materials in their gift bags and that the Holy Spirit will minister to them as they travel back to Asia. We praise God for a good visit and allowing us to share His Word with them.
