We arrived at security around 5pm and a female seafarer took us to the crew mess. At first there were only 3 seafarers in the mess, but then 8 more came in after the others finished their dinner. We visited with them for a short while and then Gina started the gospel presentation with John 3, where Nicodemus came to visit Jesus at night. She explained that they must be “born from above” to receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and gave many stories and testimonies to them. They were very attentive to her message and we could see the power of the Holy Spirit upon them. She finished with Revelation 3:20, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Then she prayed for them and afterwards one of them came up to us asking for prayer for his sister.
They thanked us for the visit and on the way off the ship we prayed for the woman at the security desk. We were on board for 3 hours and had a very good visit. Praise God that he got us on the ship as the dock security guard tried to block us from coming again.
