We arrived at the security gate at 6:15 and got our respirators and safety goggles. We walked through the mill and checked through dock security and then went up on the ship and through deck security. They took us to the crew mess where we met 4 seafarers who were off duty. The rest of the crew were unavailable as they were loading the ship. We had the fourth engineer, motorman, wiper, and chief cook meeting with us.

Frank opened up the talk with an overview of the gospel and then I presented the gospel in Tagalog. I used scripture as I spoke and had them read it from their New Testaments. After the presentation Frank reviewed the presentation and had them pray with him to allow Jesus into their hearts, repenting of their sins, and accepting Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

After we presented the gifts for the crew, two crew members from India joined in and announced that they too are Christian believers, PTL!

I noticed that while I was speaking the fourth engineer knew a lot about the scriptures as he was finishing my sentences, often blurting out the verses that I am referring to. He says that he goes to a Full Gospel fellowship in the Philippines. I suggested that he could lead the 10 Filipinos, 3 of whom just accepted Christ, as well as the 2 East Indians in discipleship and bible study. I left him with my email address and promised to respond to him and to be available to connect with him for resources, if needed.

We left the ship rejoicing at such a good visit. Please pray for the fourth engineer to lead a bible study and that the rest of the crew would read the materials in their gift bags.
